What does PDRN actually stand for?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide β fragments of DNA derived from salmon. The molecule activates a specific receptor (A2A) on the cells that build collagen1. It's been used in clinical mesotherapy for skin appearance for years; topical formulation is the newer evolution.
Isn't PDRN normally injected?
Yes β historically most PDRN clinical trials were intradermal injections. Wang's 2025 study1 is the first major topical-specific RCT, which is the citation we lean on. We're transparent about this in the Evidence section.
Was the PDRN Balm itself tested in a clinical trial?
No. We cite published research on each individual active. The finished product was not independently tested.
